David Levy hires security consultant Stuart Thomas
In August 2018, David Levy dispensed with the "hacking services" of pariah Jan Saggiori and hired a personal security consultant named Stuart Thomas in an attempt to uncover "hacking" performed by former employees such as Lee Fogarty.
The LinkedIn profile for Stuart Thomas describes his job as a "freelance data protection, privacy and security consultant":
Stuart Thomas's facebook profile describes him as "director, global privacy and data protection" and includes professional skills "computer security, Data Protection Act 1998, employment law, ethical hacking, privacy, technology law":
David Levy is the sole employee left in Retro Computers Ltd and has admitted he is unfamiliar with the ZX Spectrum. Levy is supposed to be spending all his time posting out the 5,000 completed Vega+ units that backers have paid £512,790 for. Instead, he has walked away from the Vega+ scam and is helping to organise a sex robot conference at the end of the year whilst hiring a security consultant.
Any backers that have requested a refund, made negative or satiric comments about RCL staff on social media, or have interacted in any way with Lee Fogarty need to be aware of communication attempts by Stuart Thomas. All information received is being passed back to David Levy to be used in court and to convince Sinclair Research Ltd to keep David Levy in charge of RCL.
As with everything on the internet, please be careful if you receive any communications about the Vega+ from people you do not know, especially if the author happens to be using the name "Stuart Thomas".
With half a million pounds missing from backers, and at least that again owed to creditors along with £70k of refund requests, one can only presume Stuart has had the good sense to have asked for his fee upfront.

More terrible press for the much maligned console and to make matters worse, Sky have now insisted that the company no longer use the Sinclair name and its related trademarks.
A tiny amount of the promised 400 have been spotted in the wild and there's not a single positive review.
"Our Indiegogo campaign is to raise funds to manufacture the first 2,500 or more units of the Vega+ in the UK, and to prepare us for the second production run."
